Cemetery Flags Apology

We sincerely apologize to all, particularly veterans and the families of deceased veterans resting in Maple Lawn Cemetery. Recently we were blessed with volunteers who helped us with our Fall clean up of our cemetery. (The cemetery is cleaned in the Spring and the Fall) We did not properly instruct the volunteers and they inadvertently removed our beloved American flags from most graves along with the items they were supposed to remove.

With the help of Les Hartman and the great folks at the Bentley-Trumble American Legion Post 442, we purchased 6 gross of replacement flags, which were put on the graves for our veterans. In the event we missed a grave, we have left a container of flags near the cemetery office for your convenience. Should that supply be exhausted, please contact us and we will make sure that you receive a replacement.

Again, please accept our apology, and we commit to making sure this never happens again.

We sincerely hope that our Veterans have a great Veterans Day! We appreciate and Honor your Service!
