Festivals, parades, concerts, and other outdoor events occurring on public property in the Village are regulated through a local law and an application process. Organizations wishing to conduct such an event are encouraged to make application as far in advance as possible, preferably at least 90 days before the event is to take place.
Once an application is submitted, it is reviewed by the Village Traffic Commission for safety and traffic control issues, and then it goes before the Village Manager for approval. Events requiring the closing of Village streets will go before our Board of Trustees for their approval.
